Project Find Michgian Transit Ads
Project Find Michigan and the Office of Innovative Projects at CCRESA is excited to share that we have purchased a transit buy to strengthen outreach in targeted areas.  This is part of a statewide marketing plan to assist Michigan in the identification of children, youth, and young adults who may be eligible for Special Education Services under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
Locations for activities have been determined based on intermediate school district rates of identification.  These activities are strategic components of a comprehensive child find plan.  Beginning the month of October for six weeks, advertising will appear on city buses in the counties of Wayne, Genesee, and Kent.

Wayne County 
The Detroit Department of Transportation buses
Buses saturate the City of Detroit, with many routes leading into surrounding suburbs. 

Genesee County
Mass Transportation Authority (Flint)
Primary fixed routes in Flint Service Area traveling major traffic arteries leading to secondary arteries where all major businesses, shopping centers, hospitals, and colleges are located.

Kent County
“The Rapid”
Grand Rapids Transit Authority
Service area includes East Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids, Grandville, Kentwood, Walker, Wyoming and a portion of Alpine, Byron and Gaines and Cascade townships.
